Delicious Homemade Yogurt
Making yogurt at home is easier than you think!

Stainless steel pot

4 quart jars
1 pint jar
- 1 gallon milk
- 2 Tbs yogurt Live probiotics
Set aside the starter yogurt to warm to room temperature.
Heat the milk until it reaches180-200 degrees Fahrenheit. Make sure to stir it often so that it doesn't stick to the bottom.
Let the milk cool naturally until it reaches 110-120 degrees.
After the milk has cooled, mix in the yogurt then pour your mixture into the jars. store in a warm place, such as a cooler wrapped in towels, for about 8 hours.
If you like a tangier yogurt then leave the yogurt set for longer. I've found that leaving it for even 9 hours gives it an increasingly tangier taste.
